Meet the Lead Trainer and Owner

Duncan McNair

My name is Duncan McNair. I started McNair Health and Fitness to gain the freedom and flexibility of training clients how I feel would be best for their specific needs. I’m always ready and excited to help clients reach their health and fitness goals. After five years as a CrossFit coach, I started McNair Health and Fitness because I knew I could help others better through individualized exercise and nutrition training. I’ve always loved being active and moving my body. It was a natural transition from the sports I had played in the past. I sought to establish a space where people could benefit from personalization in fitness training. I love getting to know people and making a difference in their lives!

A passion of mine is travel. Born in Billings, Montana, I’ve lived in Washington, Hawaii, Arkansas, and two cities in Texas: Houston and Austin. Travel and freedom are a few reasons I decided to create McNair Health and Fitness. Having the freedom for myself or my clients to travel while not interrupting their workout schedule was something very important to me. I love being able to travel and work out on my own schedule while still getting a ton of communication and feedback. This inspired me to provide this service to others as well! I’ve used the lessons I’ve learned over the years of my own remote training to help me form McNair Health and Fitness.

I believe in consistency, simplicity, and personalization. With the knowledge I’ve gained over the years, I know how hard it can be to find a program that works with you to meet your specific goals. That’s why I created McNair Health and Fitness—to provide custom health and fitness services tailored to each individual.
